About the Position

Bamboo Nutrition is seeking a Licensed Therapist or Psychologist who is wanting to join a flourishing group practice environment that supports them as a person and a professional, and encourages them in their career.

LET’S BE HONEST

We want providers who do what they say they are going to do, who step up and do what is right even when no one else is looking, who take pride in being a helping professional. We want dietitians who feel this is where they belong and are not out looking for the next best thing. We want therapists who are real and want to work for a business that cares.

LET’S BE REAL

Sometimes we are going to ask you to do things you don’t want to do. Like completing your progress notes within 48 hours, or taking that extra step to reach out to your client’s healthcare team with an update. This might take time. It will definitely take some effort. But it shows our community that we care, and we expect that of you.

LET’S BE A TEAM

We want people who are excited to be a part of our group. We love being bold, offering services no one else offers, and getting the word out about the crazy ways we care for our community. We like setting the bar high, both for ourselves and other therapists throughout the Midwest. We believe that when we do this, everyone wins. We don’t settle, we push to improve, and our clients are better served.

LET'S INSPIRE

We are always looking for more areas to provide unique services to our community. We believe that you should be passionate about the work you do and enjoy coming to work. Inspiration starts with you being happy with what you do and continuing to grow in your skillset.

LET'S TALK MONEY

We pay our therapists a competitive rate that reflects their skill and value.

  • $48-58 per clinical hour

We offer a fair rate and a ton of flexibility and support.

  • We offer supervision and CEU resources for part-time and full-time. Growth is one of our values, we want you to grow individually and professionally.

  • We have an onboarding and training program within the first 90 days of hire so you feel competent, supported and at home.

  • We establish you to be the go-to therapist in our community for your niche. We want you to be the expert in the community.

  • We do things for our providers that we don’t have to do, but we want to because we care.

THE REASONS YOU MIGHT NOT LIKE BAMBOO NUTRITION

We think it is important to tell people what they might not like upfront so they can save themselves time, and ditch the application if they are not a good fit.

  1. We have high expectations. We expect our providers to know how to provide evidenced-based services in such a way that our clients can heal. If our clinicians do not feel confident, we are okay with that, but we do expect them to tell us so we can offer help.

  2. You can’t cancel on your clients because you don’t feel like talking to them that day. Cancellations are for emergency situations only. Your client is trusting you, so we want you to show up for them.

  3. You must comply with our office policies. Policies are created to keep order, and we all know how much we need that!

  4. You must keep precise documentation and in a timely manner. We use tools to ensure your notes are complete and will support that client if they need anything from us in the future. We want to ensure quality as well as make sure our clients are being served properly.

  5. You need to live and breathe our philosophies. We understand that Health At Every Size and non-diet dietetics is controversial and not for everyone, but this is what Bamboo Nutrition is founded on. If you do not agree with, or identify with our philosophies, we understand but this is not the place for you.

  6. You must be a team player. Not only a team player at Bamboo Nutrition where we have dietitians and therapists, but a team player in the community. We don’t try to do it all and we take pride in building a network that we trust so we can provide our clients with the right referrals and resources.

THE REASONS YOU WILL LOVE BAMBOO NUTRITION

  1. We are fair. You might not like our policies, but they are fair and created for the greater good of the team.

  2. Our office staff couldn’t be more supportive. We are not exaggerating. We have the best sitting behind the desk of Bamboo Nutrition. They work hard so you can be successful as a therapist.

  3. We love to do good things for our community. Unless you’re a hermit, you will see and hear of us around town serving our community. Make sure you’re up for that before you apple.

  4. We care about you. Really care about you. We will celebrate your first day, your loved ones, your birthday, and the day you become a Bamboo Nutrition superstar!
